  • Hat Yai Bus Station

The city is also where the main bus terminal in the southern part of Thailand is located. Hat Yai Bus Station serves direct buses travelling across popular cities and towns in the country.  Hat Yai Bus Station is a primary bus terminal situated close to Diana Plaza Shopping Centre neighbouring Kho Hong. The bus station is a main departure and arrival point for long-distance buses offering routes connecting between Hat Yai and Bangkok, Trang, Surat Thani, Krabi, Koh Samui as well as Phuket. International bus routes to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are also provided from Hat Yai Bus Station.     Located on Supasarn Rangsan Road and is a large gifts and souvenir market. Its full name is “See Kim Yong Market” It is the name of a wealthy Chinese person who owned the original land in this area. The Market is a two-storey building, which was originally an old movie theatre and renovated into a market. The upper floor has general merchandise stores, whereas the lower floor is a dried food market. Most of the products are imported from abroad, e.g., nuts, sweets, dried fruit, ready-to-brew beverages, etc. There are also products native to the South, e.g., woven fabric, table cloths, and Islamic headscarf (hijab). Kim Yong Market is a famous market alongside Santisuk Market, which sells electrical appliances, perfume, and cosmetics. It is located on Nipatuthit 2 Road in the same area.

  • Hat Yai Municipal Park

    Located 7km northeast of Hat Yai, this huge, green oasis of hilly, landscaped gardens is home to several stunning temples, an observatory, southern Thailand's tallest Golden Buddha, a boating lake – complete with artificial waterfall – cafes and food stalls, and a network of cycling routes. Spending a day breathing in the fresh air, exploring the temples, riding the cable car and taking in the spectacular views is a great escape from the often stifling atmosphere of Hat Yai.
